Currently: April 2016

Happy Wednesday Friends! I hope your week has been going well so far and you are looking forward to some fun plans this weekend! Today I am doing another fun round of "currently".  I came across this idea on Becca Dorr's Blog - you should check her out!

ANTICIPATING "Possibly buying a house in the next few months."  Ironically, I posted that in my February: Currently post and now I am anticipating us closing on our house next month! It is hard to believe that we are already two months away from the house being finished and us getting to move in.  I cannot wait!

CLEANING Since Spring is here, it seems only fitting that I begin working on my Spring cleaning.  I am hoping to do a post here shortly about my plans for Spring Cleaning! I am also looking for any tips, so please feel free to share!

DREADING Catching up on laundry.  The complex finally resolved our dryer issue on Monday, so we can finally start doing laundry again.  I really do not want to do laundry, but I know it needs to get finished.  I also do not want to start packing, but I know I will feel much better when we go to move in a few months if I start packing now.

DRINKING So much water! I have been trying to drink 100oz or so a day - I never get that much - but I already feel so much better after actually being hydrated.  There really is something to be said about properly hydrating yourself.

FEELING Excited/exhausted.  I feel like this year has been absolutely crazy in it's entirety which has been so much fun, but I also feel like I am constantly tired.

LISTENING Pandora: Pop and Hip Hop Power Station.  I was recommended to listen to this station from a fellow blogger and love it.  I tend to gravitate toward techno/super upbeat music, so this hits my need to listen to fast-paced music.  I also love that it doesn't have a ton of words, so I feel like I can actually listen to it at work without feeling the need to sing out loud.

PLAYING Super Smash Bros. and Mario Party 10.  Over the last few weeks, Nick, Kevin, Justin and I have played several hours of both of these games.  If you have a Wii U and have not played either of these, I would highly recommend them.  They are a great party game to play with others and easy enough to play with almost any age.

READING Cinder by Marissa Meyer and The Selection by Kiera Cass.  These are my two reads for April and I am excited to really get into both of them!

RECOVERING Yesterday my foot cramped so bad while I was swimming at the gym and it was awful.  I'm pretty sure my two baby toes went in opposite directions at one point {gross}.  I've been trying to drink more water and eat bananas! If you have any other suggestions, I would be happy to hear them!

TRYING Patience.  Life has been testing me quite a bit lately, so I am trying to have patience and be positive; otherwise, life will start to get me down.  There are days I am on point and there are days where it is all I can do to just go to sleep.  Thankfully each day is a new day and I get to try again.

WAITING I am in the process of changing up doctors (let's just say my last visit was not great) and I am excited to go see the new doctor.  It has been absolutely frustrating working with my doctor and I would be happy to actually get to talk to someone about my "issues" and actually have them listen.

WALKING Right now I am just focusing on getting 10,000 steps a day to meet my daily goal.  Nothing too exciting! However, if you have a fitbit, let me know! I am always looking for new people to compete with!

WEARING Anything and everything warm.  Michigan decided that we need more snow.... yay.  Hopefully the freeze goes away soon so we can start our Spring officially!

Question of the Day: What do you have going on "currently"?

I'd love to hear from you!
