Hello and happy Thursday friends! I know I’m a broken record saying this but how in the WORLD are we already in December? It feels like we are quickly wrapping up 2022 and I’m not sure how I feel about it. This year has definitely had its share of chaos but overall it’s been a good year.
On the Agenda this Month:
1. Friends visiting from New York. Our friends were supposed to come in November but Mother Nature had other plans with the weather and dumped 2+ feet of snow on them preventing them from coming to Friendsgiving. But they’re going to be here tomorrow and I’m excited!
2. Braun family Christmas. Every year the extended family gets together for a Christmas party and this year we’re all going to my cousins house. We will eat food and just hang out for a few hours.
3. Facial with mom. Mom and I booked a facial together and I’m excited. My skin is suffering lately from the weather jumping all over the place.
4. Friendsmas with our friends. Our friends will be coming over for an ugly sweater party and ginger bread house decorating competition. I love getting together with our friends.
5. Cookie decorating class. I’m excited because I’m going to a cookie decorating class with Justin’s mom and sister and aunt. We’ve done these classes before and it’s always so fun.
6. Christmas with the families. This year is no different with the family get togethers and gift exchanges. I am excited to celebrate my niece’s first Christmas with her.
Goals for December:
1. Finish one book. I am not hopeful this will actually happen but it’s on the goal for the month like always. Maybe I’ll surprise myself.
2. Update the pantry. Justin and I have been talking about updating the pantry and I’m hoping to use the time off between Christmas and New Year to get that done. We will see!
