March: Month @ a Glance {03.01.2023}

Hello and Happy March friends! I feel like February absolutely flew by! But we had a few exciting things going on last month and we all know time flies when you're having fun.  We went on our first Disney Cruise and I also am happy to share that I got a promotion! I officially started that position on February 20th and so far it's been going great! March is going to be a little bit slower but we have a few fun projects on our agenda this month and I am excited!

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Orthodontist Appointment.  Yep, that's right.  I'm going to get Invisalign soon! On Thursday I'll be going to get photos of my mouth taken and in about six week's I'll start my treatment.  I have a few teeth that moved since I had braces as a teenager and it has been causing food pockets and issues in my mouth.  So why not get it fixed?

2. Pedicure with my girlfriends.  We go every 6-7 weeks to get our toes done and I am excited to go and get mine done.  My feet got a little beat up on the cruise so this is perfect timing.

3. Cat Yoga with my girlfriends.  One of our local rescues does yoga with kittens/cats and a few of us are going to do yoga with the kitties then go out to brunch.  I am excited to get some time with the girls and snuggle up to some super cute kitties (though my cats may be jealous).

4. The Book of Mormon with my coworker.  I got tickets to see The Book of Mormon and my coworker and I will be going to see the show together.  I've never seen this show before so I am excited to see something new and take a coworker with me.

5. The Good Boundaries and Goodbyes Book Tour.  Mom and I are going to see Lisa TerLysa TerKeurst live on her Good Boundaries and Goodbyes Book tour.  I'm excited to have an evening with my mom and so far I am really loving the book.  I am thinking we will likely grab dinner before the show as well.

6. St. Patrick's Day Brunch with the girls.  I have been trying to have a brunch every month with the girls and this month we will be doing St. Patrick's Day style brunch.  Now to come up with a few fun recipes for the month!

Goals for March:

1. Finish one book.  I finally finished my first book of 2023 and it was SO good.  If you haven't read The Midnight Library, I would highly recommend reading it.  So stinking good.  Right now I am reading Good Boundaries and Goodbyes and I am also reading It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover

2. Finish the pantry.  We are so close to finishing the pantry it's not even funny.  I actually am going to be doing the finishing touches with the paint today then all we have left is to put the doors on, add the handles and finish the outlet and the pantry will be ready for all of our junk.  I've already picked out what I want for organization, but still need to order it so I will be sure to share how I organize the space once we're done.

3. Start the laundry room.  Surprisingly, we have already decided what we want to do next with the laundry room and already ordered the cabinets that will be going into room.  The plan is to add cabinets, paint, update the shelf and do a few other fun updates to make the space more cohesive.

Well I think that is everything for today! I hope you have a great month!
