Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week. Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week. If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here.
1. Michigan (and a lot of the east side of the US) has been hit with snow the past few days. I believe we got about six inches of snow and it is SO pretty. BUT, that being said, the snow was wet and heavy and the temperature dropped a ton and we are now sitting at about six or so degrees outside. Hopefully it warms up a little bit and the salt can do it's thing so the roads aren't too slippery.
2. I ordered a few things over the weekend to help fix small inconveniences in my life and I'm super excited because they should be arriving sometime today. Sometimes it really is the little things that can make a big difference in your life.
3. My friend is having a baby in March and her shower is next month. I wanted to try a different knitting pattern for a blanket and ended up finding one that has a bunch of different patterns combined into one blanket. I'm excited because it keeps me more interested in the blanket and I think she will love all the different patterns. Now to just get it finished before her shower in a month!
4. I'm also knitting wash clothes as part of game prizes. They will go with the little hand soaps we got over Black Friday from Bath and Body Works. Knitting wash cloths is so quick and they're super easy to make. I think I've made easily 100 over the last 10 years. I may have to just knit up a bunch for myself to have around the house (or even just make them so I have them for showers in the future).
5. Have you ever gotten a coffee at a coffee shop and it just wasn't good? Unfortunately, my coffee wasn't quite right this morning. I think they maybe used the wrong sweetener when making it, but it is what it is. It was early, the roads were bad and sometimes mistakes happen.
