tuesday things {09.17.24}

 

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week.  Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week.  If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here. 

1. We had a fairly quiet weekend this past weekend which was nice.  I came down with a flu/cold of some sort last week and felt absolutely terrible all week so it was nice to sleep on for a few days in a row. 

2. On Saturday I went and got coffee flights with a book club friend and it was so fun. The place was super cute and we had fun just chatting and enjoying each other’s company.  I’m excited for this new friendship and can’t wait to hang out with her again soon. 

3. Anyone else feel like when you need things fixed it’s never just one thing that needs fixing? While it’s not necessarily broken, we need an oil change in the SUV and the car needs some work too.  I’m trying to schedule appointments for both and it’s a lot.  But I know once it’s all done I’ll be happy about it. 

4. I feel like September is just flying by! Usually this month does not feel quick but here we are on the third week and I still haven’t decorated for Fall yet (which honestly makes me sad). 

5. I also need to get mums or flowers for my porch because my planter is just empty right now.  I had debated getting fake mums so I don’t have to kill them every year but it didn’t feel like a good use of our money at this time.  Maybe next year!
