tuesday things {08.08.23}

                                       

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm getting around to this post way later than I normally would, but I am still here and happy to be able to write the post.  Today is another round of Tuesday Things  where I share five things from the past week.

1. My niece turned one last week! It is so hard to believe she is already one years old.  It feels like that year went by so fast and I cannot wait to celebrate her with our family this coming weekend. We're doing a Berry First Birthday theme which will be all strawberries.  I cannot wait.

2. I came down with a stomach bug over the weekend and ended up sleeping all day yesterday.  Like allll day.  Apparently I needed the sleep because I am feeling much better today.  However, there are still some lingering side effects.  All I can say is I am ready to get like normal again and not be worried about what I'm eating.  The good news is Justin hasn't gotten sick and I will not be contagious for this weekend.

3. Did you check out the Trivia Tuesday on my Instagram today? The trivia only lasts for 24-hours and there's a chance you could win a coffee on me! Every week I do a different them and I'm very excited about this week's them.

4. I submitted a photo of one of our kitties to be part of the rescues calendar where we adopted her from.  It's so silly but I really hope she is picked to be a part of the calendar.  She's such a cute kitty and I think many people would enjoy her photo.

5. I am so sad because of of the yarn colors I have been using on my temperature blanket is no longer available.  It would appear the brand I've been using removed the color and replaced it with a totally different color.  I've been on the hunt for a replacement, but I'm thinking I will be forced to pick a new color to represent 80-89 degrees and I'm sad.
