December: Month @ a Glance

Hello and happy Friday friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to a fun weekend ahead. Today is another round of Month @ a Glance where I share what is going on this month and share any goals I have.

I am having a hard time believing we are already in the last month of 2023.  It feels like we just started the year and here we are looking at the last month of this year.  December is always crazy busy and this year will be no different.  But I am definitely looking forward to the holidays.

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Cookie Baking with Mom. Mom and I try to get together every year to bake cookies and this year we're doing it a bit earlier than normal because we're out of town next weekend.  I'm very excited to bake cookies with her.  It's something I look forward to every year.

2. Big Family Christmas. The Braun Family Christmas is this Sunday with my extended family and I'm excited to go.  I don't get to see my family as much as I used to so it will be nice to see them all even if it is just for a short period of time.

3. Cruise with Justin's Parents. We're heading on our second cruise of 2023 and I'm excited.  I have desperately needed a break from the real world and it will be nice to just have a little break. I just need to make sure I don't burn while we're on the cruise.

4. Cookie Decorating Class. We haven't been to a cookie decorating class in quite a while so I am excited to get out and go to one and decorate Christmas-themed cookies.

5. Birthday party for my friend's daughter. My friends daughter turns two this month and we're going to celebrate her.  I'm excited because I was able to get her the Target shopping cart toy for her birthday.  I hope she loves it.

6. Friendsmas. Friendsmas with our friends is one of my favorite traditions and it will be so fun to get together with friends, wear ugly sweaters, decorate ginger bread houses and just enjoy each other's company.

7. Christmas with my family. Like previous years, we will be going to my parents for the night on the 23rd to spend the evening together then open our gifts and spend time together on Christmas Eve.

8. Christmas with Justin's family. I am not sure if we're doing a sleepover this year, but we will be getting together with Justin's family for the day to spend time together and exchange gifts.

9. NYE Party.

Goals for December:

1. Drink 80+oz of water a day.  Keeping the goals simple this month and making it a goal to drink 80+ oz of water every day.  I tend to get really bad about water this time of the month so I'm really going to focus on that this month.

2. Take my vitamins daily.  As the weather gets darker and darker, it's going to be important I take my vitamins every day to keep up my vitamin D and other stuff.

3. Exercise or meditate daily.  The goal is 30 minutes of something daily whether that's walking, yoga, cycling or something else.  Just move my body and shake out some of the stress.

Like previous months I will be using a tracker that I created which was inspired by Evermore Paper Co..  Their website is still down, so I am using my version I created for tracking this month.  I'm hoping their site will go back up soon, but if you'd like to use mine, just click on the image at the end of this post - to be clear their version was free and this version is free.  I will not earn any income from this printable.

Well I think that is everything for today! I hope you have a great month!

Question of the Day: What do you have planned in November?
