Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week. Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week. If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here.
1. I took a half day Thursday and a full day on Friday. On Thursday Justin signed up for a woodworking safety class (I was on the wait list) so we planned to take a half day of work and spend the evening together. We were hoping that someone would cancel but they ended up not having room so I chilled in the car while he was in the class.
2. On Friday I had just planned to spend the day at home and relaxing. I ended up going out for a coffee date with my mom and it was so nice. We grabbed a coffee and ran a few errands because I needed a few things for my friend's baby shower on Sunday. Below is a little video I put together of our mother/daughter date.
3. In an awesome turn of events, I won a free facial from our local salon. When I got home from coffee on Sunday I happened to see a giveaway that they shared and happened to be the first person to see it on their Facebook page. It was perfect timing because I've been needing a good skin treatment and the person I normally see had left the salon. Thankfully, I really loved the girl the did my facial so I found my new girl.
4. Sunday was my friend's baby shower and it was so much fun. I helped with decorations and it her sisters hosted and handled the food. Everything came together so nicely.
5. This afternoon Justin and I are going to meet with my OBGYN to discuss next steps as we have not been able to get pregnant for over a year now. If you've been around for a while, then you know the last few years (almost three now) have brought with them some heartbreak in regard to starting our family. So we're going to start talking about what options we have available to us going forward. I'm hoping it's nothing too big, but I'll be sure to share with you all as we go on this journey.
