Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week. Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week. If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here.
1. You ever get your weekends mixed up and unexpectedly have a weekend with absolutely no plans? That was me last weekend. I thought I had plans on Saturday that would have taken up a good chunk of the day, but the plans are actually for this Saturday.
2. I started crocheting a sweater last week and I'm feeling a bit indifferent about it. I think it could be super cute once I get it done, but I'm a bit nervous it will turn out badly and that's a log of time/energy for something to turn out badly.
3. Hubby was laid off from his job a few weeks ago, so we've been working to figure out a good budget for us while he's in transition. Thankfully he has a lot of prospects out there and I'm excited to see what comes from this.
4. I updated our chalkboard last week for Halloween and I'm excited with how it turned out. I usually do a new design every month but totally missed a few months this year due to our crazy schedule.
5. We're trying to new recipes this week and I'm kind of excited. Because the weather has been colder, I've been researching soups to try so we will be a new soup this week from the recommendation of a friend.
