Tuesday Things {03.04.25}

 

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week. Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week. If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here.

1. Mother Nature is trying very hard to make her way into Spring over the last week.  At the beginning of last week we had easily 8-9" of snow on the ground and by the end of the week we had zero. I'm glad it's making a natural transition into Spring, but really had the awkward time where everything is just wet and muddy and the temperature bounces around a lot. That tends to give Justin and I headaches which are no fun. 

2. Have you heard of The Finch app? It has been popping up all over my TikTok lately and when a friend recommended it late last year I had to download and use the game. Essentially it's a self-care app where you have a little bird to take care of (hello Tamagotchi for Millennials) but you do this by completing self-care tasks for yourself. 3. I started adding protein to my coffee in the mornings to attempt to get more protein in my diet and it's been interesting so far. I think I am putting way too much protein powder for the amount of coffee, so I will be making little adjustments until I find what I like. 4. In February I finished a total of seven books. I had a little bit more than that on my agenda for the month, but I got Influenza A and that ate up essentially a week where I was not feeling up to doing much more than sleeping. Be sure to check out my monthly book review which should be up tomorrow. I'll go into more detail about each book I read and my review. 

5. Did you know that the newest season of Bridgerton is coming sooner rather than later? I attended a Netflix virtual event on Valentine's Day and got to see some sneak peeks and hear from the characters coming up in the next season. I'm excited to see what Benedict gets up to in his season.
