Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week. Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week. If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here.
1. I am doing the Summerween Readathon this week and it is so much fun! Gabby Reads puts together a fun, spooky-themed readathon every year and this year's was so cute! Click on the photo below to check out all the deets over on the Instagram. I even decorated my Kindle in honor of the occasion.
2. I had a super fun 4th of July weekend between time with my hubby and my friends. On Friday we went to see How to Train Your Dragon and I have to say I really enjoyed the movie. On Saturday, a group of girlfriends and I spent the day watching The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and hanging out in the fort. I love how much use we get out of the fort these days.
3. Do you remember Shrinky Dinks? One of the crafts we did at the fort sleepover was make a few cute keychains with the shrinky dink paper. It was such an easy project and I am thinking I may have to make more because they were so fun. If you want to check them out, I got my kit over on Amazon.
4. This weekend my mom and I are heading for an overnight getaway ahead of my cousin's bridal shower. Her shower is a few hours from home so we thought it would be fun to make our way out there earlier and spend some time checking out local stuff. It will be fun to spend some time with her and get away for the night.
5. I feel like I have so many book clubs this month which is so fun but also so stressful. I am so close to hitting my reading goal for 2025, but I also don't want to be stressed out every time I'm reading. I think I am going to have to find a balance with all these book clubs. Either way, it's a lot of fun.
