September: Month @ a Glance

Source
Happy September Friends!

Oh my goodness! How in the world did we get to September? In 21 days, we will officially be in Fall and I am excited! This summer has been so hot so I am looking forward to cooler weather, chunky scarves and comfortable boots.  This month we have a few fun things happening, but we are actually taking the month a little slower than the past few months.

Things Happening This Month
  1. Up North for Labor Day
  2. Meeting some neighbors at a Painting class
  3. Meet your best friend @ the Zoo
  4. The Fort Sleepover
  5. Renaissance Festival
Goals This Month

1. Read {at least} one book.  I have been trying to finish What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty for easily three months, so this will finally be the month that I finish it! I also would like to read Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.  I am hoping to get the second book done before the movie comes out on September 30th! The movie looks so good, so I imagine the book will be even better.

2. Scripture Writing.  My goal is to get every single day done for September.  I have been mucking it up a bit the last few months and would really like to be as successful as possible in September.

3. Date Night with Justin.  Last month, Justin and I started a new tradition called Sushi Sundays and we are hoping to make it stick.  I am looking forward to our date night this coming Sunday.  The food is delicious!

4. Go through clothes.  With Fall quickly approaching, I would like to take some time to go through my clothes and get rid of anything I do not need/do not wear.  I have been noticing that I have a lot of clothes I do not wear and I really should work on getting rid of the things I do not need.

Recap of August

1. Read {at least} one book.  In August I was able to read Ready Player One and The Light Between Oceans.  Not too shabby considering we had our housewarming party and a few birthdays to celebrate! September will be even better.

2. Scripture Writing.  Well I failed here haha.  I was able to catch up on a huge chunk of July, but did not finish as much as I had planned.  I need to come up with a new plan of action to help me get a little bit more organized.

3. Date Night with Justin.  In August, Justin and I did go on a date to get sushi together and decided that we would start a new tradition of Sushi Sundays.  I look forward to eating sushi with him on Sundays now.

4. All Boxes Unpacked.  HA! Not even close.  We are going to work on it over Labor Day weekend since we will have some free time.
