Happy Friday and Happy November 1st friends! I hope you had a wonderful Halloween yesterday and are not too tired today. Can you believe we are in the final two months of 2021? It’s crazy how quickly October flew by - feels like I was just doing my post for October yesterday.
Today we're going to talk a little bit about the upcoming month and all the fun things we have planned.
On the Agenda this Month:
1. Sprinkle for my Friend. The coming weekend we are having a small get together for our friend. She’s having her second baby and this one will be a girl so we are doing a little get together to get her a few of the essentials she needs for a little girl like diapers, wipes and little outfits. I'm excited because it's themed "Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice". It will be super cute and I'm excited to celebrate her new little girl coming soon.
2. Baby Shower for my Friend. Ironically, the very next weekend we will be making our way to our first ever couples shower for another friend of ours. I'm excited to celebrate them and see what it's like attending a couples shower.
3. Friendsgiving with our Friends. This is an annual tradition of ours that I very much look forward to and this year is no different. We will be celebrating Friendsgiving the weekend before Thanksgiving.
4. Thanksgiving with Family. This year we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with my family (we rotate every year) so I will be interested to see who will be coming to this year's gathering.
5. Christmas Tree Shopping. Every year we go to a local Christmas tree farm to get our tree and I believe we will be going to be one the Sunday after Thanksgiving this year. If I had it my way we'd get a tree tomorrow, but we have to wait a little bit longer just in case.
Goals for November
1. Read one book: I did not get around to reading the third book in the Grisha Series: Ruin and Rising in October, so I am planning to read/listen to that one this month. Justin and I are planning to read this book together so I'm excited.
2. Finish cleaning the basement. A few weekends ago we spend a Saturday afternoon going through the junk in our basement and getting rid of stuff. We were able to get through a huge chunk of the basement, but didn't quite finish so I am planning to finish it off sometime this month so we have one less thing to worry about going into 2022.
