What's Up Wednesady {02.23.2022}

Welcome to another round of What's Up Wednesday Post! Back when I was much better about keeping a regular schedule, this was one of my favorite series that I did so I thought it would be fun to bring it back to the blog.  I am hoping that this becomes a regular post and you all enjoy reading them as I go along.

I'm linking up with Shay and Shaeffer to share what's been going on with us lately!

1. WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK

This week we've been bad about food and ordering out a lot.  I have a grocery list put together, I just need to get our groceries so we can eat at home instead of doing so much take out.

2. WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT

We're coming up on the one year mark since we found out we were pregnant and it's been bittersweet.  The last year has been quite the journey between the miscarriage and then having some other medical issues, but I'm looking forward to seeing what 2022 brings and working on my overall health.

3. WHAT I'M LOVING

Our living room is turning out so beautifully.  I am so excited about it and love spending time in the space.  It's amazing what making a few changes to a space can make it feel larger and even though we painted one wall a bit darker, it's amazing how much brighter the whole room feels.  I also love that I have so much more storage than I did before and it is so much more organized.

4. WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO

We were supposed to go to Philadelphia last weekend but Mother Nature had other plans, so we ended up staying home and spending some much needed time organizing Justin's office and putting the finishing touches on the living room.  It's always nice when we get to just be at home and I look forward to that time.

5. WHAT I'M DREADING

I am going to a new dermatologist today to look at getting a patch test.  I've been having issues with my skin where it has become very difficult to wear makeup.  Which, let's be honest, I don't wear a whole lot of makeup, but I do like to wear it for special occasions.  But it has come to the point where it is almost not worth the 2-3 days of allergy issues I'm going to have afterward.

6. WHAT I'M WORKING ON

I've been designing labels for the bins in our new storage cabinets in the living room and I am so excited.  I haven't really had the chance to use my Cricut in a while so it will be fun to pull that bad boy out and put it to work.

7. WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT

We're going to my favorite bakery this weekend to get milkshakes.  I love going to M Street and for Christmas last year, Justin gave me a coupon to go once a month together to M Street.  We were going to go last weekend, but we were too cold after seeing a movie.

8. WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING

Right now I am reading A Royal Christmas Fairy Tale and listening to Stealing Home.  I also have been working my way through season 2 of Cheer on Netflix.  I love that show and was excited when a new season came out last month.

9. WHAT I'M LISTENING TO

I'm still on my Crime Junkie Podcast kick.  I'm happy to report I have made it almost all the way through 2019.  I have a long ways to go, but love listening to their podcast.  I actually will listen to it while I'm getting some work done because, why not?

10. WHAT I'M WEARING

I got a few cute pairs of leggings from Target this past weekend and I love them so much.  I usually gravitate toward black leggings only, but I ended up getting a light purple, bright pink and green pair that I'm very excited about.

11. WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND

Right now we have no plans this weekend and I am so happy.  I'll likely spend some time going through my closet to get rid of clothes I no longer wear/need and work on organizing the kitchen some too.

12. WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH

I'm hosting another brunch with the girls next month and I'm excited! We will be doing a St. Patrick's Day themed brunch and it will be a ton of fun.  Really looking forward to Vicki's French toast bake!

Well that's everything for today, I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week and are looking forward to a long weekend! Be sure to check out Shay and Shaeffer's posts too for others doing the What's Up Wednesday series.
