tuesday things {02.22.22}

Hello and happy Tuesday friends! Today I am doing another round of Tuesday Things! For today's post I am going to just share a few random things from the past week:

1. Following up on our furnace fiasco last weekend, it looks like we have a broken control panel which will be around $750 to fix.  We also found out that the unit that was installed in our house when it was built in 2016 is not the correct size.  It is about 800 sq. ft. too small for our house which means that it's putting too much pressure on the system which will cause more issues later.  So it looks like we have a few decisions to make.

2. We ended up canceling our trip to Philadelphia this weekend because we had a bad snow storm that came in Thursday/Friday which made traveling in Michigan dangerous.  We ended up going to IKEA and running a few errands then spent time this weekend putting some finishing touches on our living room.  I am so excited to share the updates with you all.

3. We started listening to Stealing Home over the weekend which is so fun.  The book is what the Netflix Show, Sweet Magnolias, is based around and so far it seems the Netflix show stayed pretty close to the book.  I'm excited to listen to more of the book to see how the story plays out.

4. I may, or may not have, purchased a bunch of the new set from Essie's Expressie nail polish.  I love this nail polish and love how quick it dries.  So of course I had to get all the colors in the new collection that I liked which resulted in me getting six new nail polishes to wear.

5. I'm so excited because we do not have anything major planned in March and can have some quiet weekends with each other.  I love when we have no plans for the weekend and can just spend time together.

Well that's everything for this Tuesday! I hope you have a great rest of your week.

  1. Sounds like you turned around a disappointment to a positive weekend. As for the Essie polish...I think I might need to have you do my nails.
