Welcome to another round of What's Up Wednesday Post! Back when I was much better about keeping a regular schedule, this was one of my favorite series that I did so I thought it would be fun to bring it back to the blog. I am hoping that this becomes a regular post and you all enjoy reading them as I go along.
1. WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK
Monday: Takeout
Tuesday: Shepherd's Pie
Wednesday: Turkey sausage veggie bake
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Out for our anniversary
2. WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT
As I mentioned above, Friday is our anniversary and it is so crazy to think about how much life we've experienced over the last 11 years. I know it's cheesy, but I really am so thankful for Justin and how wonderful of a husband that he has been to me.
3. WHAT I'M LOVING
I was worried that the weather had officially turned bad for the winter but we had beautiful weather over the weekend. I love this time of year with all of the colorful leaves and the wonderful smells. There is something so special about fall and I’m glad it hung out a little bit longer for us to enjoy this past weekend.
4. WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO
Mostly we’ve just been hanging out at home and hanging out. It’s nice that we have a place where we are happy to be all the time. The house is all decorated for Halloween too which is always so fun too.
5. WHAT I'M DREADING
I really need to get in the basement and chestnut out all of our junk again. It’s amazing how quickly that space fills with boxes and trash and I’m dreading taking the time to go through it again. I’m thinking I also would like to get the same shelving so we have consistent storage. Bigger goal would be to have all of the dame storage totes too but for now I’m focusing on getting all the same shelving.
6. WHAT I'M WORKING ON
Surprisingly, I have still been sewing a lot lately. I’m working on a few Christmas gifts for friends and I’m also working on stuff for my rescue. I really need to get myself together on gifts because time is FLYING by and I need my gifts done by early December.
7. WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT
My friend had a baby a little over a week ago and I am so excited to meet her new little girl. Babies are always so exciting and there’s nothing more exciting than meeting a baby for the first time.
8. WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING
Like I mentioned last month, I’ve been watching My Big Fat Fabulous Life and other fall shows. I have not been doing too much reading unfortunately but I’m working my way through Yerba Buena.
9. WHAT I'M LISTENING TO
I'm still on the Crime Junkie grind. I'm happy to report I've made it to 2022! And I'm almost half way through. I had a non-written goal to catch up on their podcast and here I am! I think I'll be able to finish it before the end of the year. What do you think?
10. WHAT I'M WEARING
Everything Halloween. My t-shirts, socks, cardigans, etc. I love Halloween and have a ton of different things that are Halloween themed and love that I have an entire month to wear them.
11. WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND
Friday Justin and I took the day off work to spend our anniversary together. We will be going out to a fancy meal and a movie together. Then on Saturday we're having a Halloween party and Sunday I have plans to get brunch with a friend and go meet another friends new baby. It will be a fun weekend to say the least!
12. WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH
All the holiday things! We will be getting ready for the holidays and will be spending some much needed time with friends and family.
