tuesday things {01.24.23}

                            

Hello and happy Tuesday friends! I hope your year has been off to a great start so far! If you follow me over on Instagram, then you know we've been diligently working on our pantry.  It has been quite the process, but I cannot wait to get it done.  It will be so pretty. 

For today's blog post, I am doing another round of Tuesday Things where I share some random things we've been doing over the past few weeks.  

1. I feel like I've been all over the place the last few weeks. Some days I am really on top of everything and others I want to just veg out all day.  I know it's all part of the balance, but I definitely feel better when I am more "on top" of things for the day.

2. I started a temperature blanket at the beginning of the year and I'm really enjoying making it! Every day the color is based on the temperature.  I was hoping that we would have a little more variety in temperature this month, but Michigan tends to stay pretty consistent this time of year.  

3. Every year I give myself a goal to read X amount of books and every year I don't hit that goal.  I'm not sure if I'm just not loving reading or if it's just not a top priority, but I really need to focus on it because it is really one of my favorite past times. 

4. I have been loving Dashing Diva nail strips - it's a fun way to get designs on my nails without a lot of work.  That and they don't really do much damage like other nail polishes or nails will do to my nails.  They usually last a week and a half to two weeks and I really like them.

5. I have also been debating making myself a quilt.  I've made a few quilts in my lifetime, but never made one for myself.  I found as super cute pattern, but need to sit down and figure out how much it will cost to get all the fabrics and everything before getting started.  If I did make a quilt would you be interested in coming along?
