tuesday things {08.22.23}

Happy Tuesday friends! Hope your week is off to a great start and you're looking forward to your week ahead.  Today is another round of Tuesday Things where I share five things from the past week.

1. We went to West Virginia this past weekend to attend a keyboard meetup and it was so fun.  I love when we get to go out together and do little road trips.  It's was almost more fun this year because we made a few friends last year and were able to meetup with them again this year. 

2. We have another trip scheduled in a few weeks to head to California to visit my friend and attend another keyboard meetup.  I'm excited because this is Justin's first time going to California.  Hopefully the hurricane isn't too damaging and everyone is staying safe out there.

3. I'm debating signing up for a Zumba class this fall, but am a bit nervous.  I would be doing the class with new people and I'm a bit out of shape.  But I know at the end of the day, I'll be glad to have a workout in.  So I just need to put on my big girl pants and sign up for the class. 

4. Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I started yet another blanket for myself.  It's a gingham check pattern that I have looked at so many times I decided to just bite the bullet and get the yarn while there was a good sale at Joann Fabrics.  I also need to catch up on my temperature blanket - I've done a good job staying up to date but got a bit off while we were out of town. 

5. I was able to make a lot of progress on my book over the weekend and have been really loving it.  I'm hoping to finish it between now and when we leave in a few weeks.
