Hello and happy Friday friends! I hope your week has gone well and you are looking forward to fun weekend ahead. Tomorrow we're having a relatively quiet day at home then on Sunday I am going to my friend's baby shower. I'm looking forward to celebrating her.
Today I'm doing another round of Currently. The idea is to share a bunch of things that are "currently" happening in our life based on the prompts. So without further ado, let's begin!
ANTICIPATING: We made an appointment on Tuesday to talk to my OBGYN about getting pregnant. I'm planning to do a more extensive post about our infertility journey, but right now we're just getting the whole process started.
CLEANING: Does anyone else feel like they get their house cleaned then turn around and it's a mess again. Like, who in the world is messing up my house this much? It surely cannot be me! Either way I am constantly cleaning the house and I feel like it will be a never ending part of my life.
FEELING: Overall, I've been feeling good. More happy days than sad or frustrating which is great because this time of year can sometime bring with it a bit of sadness.
WATCHING: Honestly, most of my watching time has been spent watching streams on Twitch or watching YouTube videos.
PLAYING: I have been seeing videos everywhere of Party Animals so of course I had to play the game too. It's so silly and fun and enjoyable to play overall. Below is a video of a streamer that I watched play the game. It made me laugh quite a bit.
READING: In January I finished three books and started three. Right now I am reading the following books:
RECOVERING: Not much recovery happening over here, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes it's nice to be moving along at a good pace and not have to worry about recovering from everything.
TRYING: I'm so excited because I learned how crochet over the last week or so and I've successfully crocheted seven granny squares. Last year I made a temperature blanket for myself but I ended up with a bunch of leftover yarn so this will be a great use of the leftovers. Of course, I have to give credit to the person that inspired me, Elyse Myers. If you haven't seen her TikTok's about crocheting, definitely check them out!
WEARING: It has been very cold here in Michigan so I've been wearing a ton of hoodies and leggings. Ironically, last month I shared a hoodie that I bought this hoodie from OFFLINE by Aerie and it was such a favorite of mine that I ended up buying another one! Isn't it so cute? I love the color and that it says "talk to me tomorrow".
