tuesday things {05.28.24}

               

Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week.  Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week.  If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here

1. I celebrated my birthday with my family and friends last weekend and it was so much fun.  We went to a local candle making place and made candles then went out to dinner afterward.  I had so much fun and felt so blessed by my friends and family that came to celebrate with me.

2. I met a capybara this weekend and I am so excited.  Capybara's are my favorite animal and Justin went above and beyond to help plan a little trip for the two of us to go and meet a capybara.  They're names were Scooby Doo and Velma and they were very sweet.  And the sounded exactly like I thought they would. 



3. We had intended to lay mulch for Memorial Day, but Mother Nature had other plans so our Memorial Day was filled with relaxation and vegging around the house. I've been using a lot of my free time to attend reading and productivity sprints and have been trying to accomplish a lot of little things around the house and on the blog/Facebook group.

4. I'm joining a fun book challenge for the month of June called The Amazing Readathon.  It looks SO much fun and I'm hoping it will help me tackle some of my TBR Pile since it has been slowly growing.  Plus, I love a good challenge and would like to get outside more so I'm planning to use some of my time listening to books while I go for little walks.  If you want more information about The Amazing Readathon, check out this YouTube video: The Amazing Readathon 2024.


5. Another fun thing I'm doing is 100 Miles, 100 Days.  The idea is to move one mile a day for 100 days.  It starts on June 1 and goes through September 9th.  If you want to join in the fun, I'll be doing weekly check ins over on Facebook and Instagram.  I also created a Google Group where regular updates can be posted/shared by everyone.

Don't want to do a mile a day? No problem! The idea is to just move your body.
