Fall 2021 Bucket List {09.03.2021}

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful week and are looking forward to a nice long weekend ahead.  We will be heading out of town for a trip with Justin's parents and I will be checking one of my Michigan Bucket List items off while we're gone! If you haven't noticed yet, I am already gearing up for a fun and exciting Fall! Fall is my favorite season of the year and I cannot wait to do all the fun and exciting Fall things.

Today I thought I would share my Fall Bucket List with you all.

1. Make my own spiced cider/pumpkin drink.  I know Starbucks released their Pumpkin Spice Lattes last month and I do love PSLs, but I was thinking it could be fun to make my own spiced cider. I spent some time searching Pinterest and think I'm either going to try this recipe or this recipe.  I haven't decided which one yet, but I will be sure to share with you all.

2. Pick apples with my friends.  This one is a no brainer - we've pretty much gone every year for the last ten years to pick apples with our friends.  It is one of my favorite traditions we have with our friends and I love that we get to pick from a wide variety of apples that are grown locally.  Not to mention, the place we go has delicious donuts.

3. Bake a fall-themed pie.  Another one like number one, but I thought it would be fun to do a fall themed pie.  I'm thinking an apple pie with a twist? Or maybe a pumpkin pecan pie? Who knows! I'm sure Pinterest will have some fun and exciting pies for me to try out.

4. Jump in a pile of leaves.  One of my least favorite things about fall is raking all of the leaves (which hasn't been a huge problem for us), but one thing I miss is raking a huge pile of leaves and jumping into the pile.  I'm thinking I'll have to go to my parents house to do this because they have a ton of trees/leaves every fall.

5. Cozy up to the fire with a good book.  One thing I love about cooler weather is the ability use our fire place AND enjoy fires by the firepit.  The mosquitos are not nearly as bad when it's colder out so I tend to enjoy bon fires more.  I also love to read when I can be all snuggled up.  Speaking of which, anyone have any good books they would recommend this Fall?

6. Visit a pumpkin patch.  I have been talking to Justin about going to pick a pumpkin at a patch for years and this year I am finally going to do it.  I've gone to get pumpkins from the places that sell them, but I've not actually gone and picked one out from the patch myself.  This year I am determined to go and do that.

Well I think that's all for my Fall Bucket List.  I am sure there are other things that will come up that I'll want to do this Fall, but these are the main items I'd like to complete this fall.  Just for fun, below is a little graphic.  I found the template on PicMonkey and edited it to meet my Bucket List.
