Happy Tuesday everybody! I hope your week is off to a great start and you had a lovely weekend!
Today I wanted to share another round of Tuesday Things with you all. This week I am going to share five random things from the past week.
1. Saturday night we went to my nephew's football game and watched him play while my niece cheered. I had so much fun watching the game and cheering along with the adorable cheerleaders. I'm really hoping we can get out to one or two more game because of how much fun we had.
2. On Sunday I went to my in-laws house to learn how to lay tile and to help my father-in-law a little bit with laying tile down in their master bath. They've been working to remodel the bathroom and it was so much fun to learn how to lay the tile down. I can't wait to see how everything looks once the space is finished.
3. I'm thinking about starting a bullet journal {again}. A few years back I ordered a little notebook to try and do some bullet journaling but quickly became frustrated that the pages bled a lot and things did not come together as well as I would have liked. But I've been looking for a fun and creative outlet and I think a bullet journal will be a fun way for me to create something new and exciting. Plus it will give me a great way to start tracking my goals again.
4. Did I mentioned that I'm going to be sending 91 cards from October 1st to December 31st this year? I was inspired by a TikTok account that asked people to be their pen pal and came up with the idea of sending happy mail to someone every day for the last quarter of 2021. If you, or someone you know would like to receive a letter in the mail from me, please let me know! I'd be happy to send you a little piece of happy during the last quarter.
5. I've really been missing fostering kittens lately and wish we had not stopped the process. However, I know the decision to pause for the last year or so was the right decision given how stressful everything has been this year. Maybe next year we will be able to bring some little fuzzy kittens back to our home. But until then, we will just love on our furbabies.
