Welcome to another round of What's Up Wednesday Post! Back when I was much better about keeping a regular schedule, this was one of my favorite series that I did so I thought it would be fun to bring it back to the blog. I am hoping that this becomes a regular post and you all enjoy reading them as I go along.
1. WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK
I actually made a point to plan out our menu for the work week!
- Monday: Beef Stroganoff
- Tuesday: Chili
- Wednesday: Broccoli cheese pasta
- Thursday: Grilled cheese & tomato soup
- Friday: Leftovers/Takeout
2. WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT
Justin and I are coming up on our 10th wedding anniversary and I've been thinking a lot about the past ten years. It's been so fun to think back on where we started and where we are now. I'm thinking I might have to do a post in honor of us reaching this big milestone.
3. WHAT I'M LOVING
I bought some of the new Expressie colors that Essie put out for Fall and I'm loving them. They are so fun and festive for Fall. I'm also thinking I might be able to use them in the Spring/Summer as well. If you've not tried Expressie before, I'd check it out. Super easy to use and lasts longer than most polishes.
4. WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO
September was spent with family and friends between football games and birthdays and it was perfect. I love when we have a good balance of plans with family and friends but also have some quiet/non-planned days as well.
5. WHAT I'M DREADING
I'm not really dreading anything in particular this month. I think that's a good thing though!
6. WHAT I'M WORKING ON
Ya'll I'm still so excited about my little "shopping and deals" Facebook Group, Shop with Me, Jackabee. I'm still working on getting more members in the group and am trying to come up with fun and creative ways to interact with the members of the group.
7. WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT
October is so soon and I'm excited! October, November and December are my three favorite months of the year because of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and this year we will actually be able to celebrate with some of our family and friends. I'm excited about that AND Hocus Pocus is going to be on Friday night.
8. WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING
Last week I listened to Party of Two by Jasmine Guillory and loved every minute of the book. Because of that, I used an Audible credit to get her book, The Wedding Date too and so far I'm loving that one too. I'm also still reading RWBY: Roman Holiday as well. I am planning to finish that this week.
9. WHAT I'M LISTENING TO
I'm a big fan of the Crime Junkie podcast and have been listening to the series starting at the beginning. I think I'm maybe 12 weeks into the podcast and have several years to go, but I'm loving every episode so far.
10. WHAT I'M WEARING
It cooled off here in Michigan, so I've been pulling out my jeans and sweaters the last few weeks and LOVING it. I always look forward to cooler temps and pulling out my jeans/legging and boots. And it's finally here.
11. WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND
This weekend I was originally supposed to go out of town with my girlfriends, but that plan fell through. We're planning to do something, just not quite sure what the plan is yet.
12. WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH
October is a big month between going apple picking our anniversary. I'm looking forward to all of it and also looking forward to getting together with some friends that are visiting as well.
