Welcome to another round of What's Up Wednesday Post! Back when I was much better about keeping a regular schedule, this was one of my favorite series that I did so I thought it would be fun to bring it back to the blog. I am hoping that this becomes a regular post and you all enjoy reading them as I go along.
1. WHAT WE'RE EATING THIS WEEK
I actually made a point to plan out our menu for the work week!
- Monday: Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
- Tuesday: Shepherd's Pie
- Wednesday: Take out of some sort
- Thursday: Thanksgiving dinner
- Friday: Leftovers
2. WHAT I'M REMINISCING ABOUT
Recently I've been thinking a lot about the last few years and how much things have changed over the years. We've had some pretty awesome things happen and some pretty terrible things happen, but overall I am so thankful to be here and to be surrounded by loved ones.
3. WHAT I'M LOVING
I am loving all the decorations my neighbors have been putting up for Christmas. There is something so special about all the pretty lights in the subdivision. I am hoping that Justin and I can take some time to get out and go and see some of the pretty Christmas lights this year. I love seeing them all and spending quality time with Justin.
4. WHAT WE'VE BEEN UP TO
The last few weeks were filled with baby sprinkles, baby showers, family birthdays and Friendsgiving. All of the things we did were so fun and it has been amazing seeing our family and friends as much as we have been able to see them.
5. WHAT I'M DREADING
So much trash in our basement. I think it's going to take a month to get all of it out without overwhelming our wonderful trash people. I'm so glad we spent that time going through our basement, but man it's a lot of trash/empty boxes.
6. WHAT I'M WORKING ON
Right now I am focusing on finishing my friend's baby blanket. Her baby will be here one month from yesterday so I need to get my booty in gear and get it finished before her little girl arrives.
7. WHAT I'M EXCITED ABOUT
Christmas is my favorite holiday so I am so excited about decorating, making cookies, wrapping presents, watching Christmas movies and sending Christmas cards. I just love all things Christmas.
8. WHAT I'M WATCHING/READING
I'm still listening to The Wedding Date. I'm almost done with that one, so I'll move onto the next one in the series, The Proposal.
9. WHAT I'M LISTENING TO
So much Christmas music. I usually try to hold out to listen to Christmas music until after Thanksgiving, but this year I decided to start listening earlier and started late last week. I love how nostalgic the music makes me feel and there's really only 1-2 months a year you can listen to Christmas music.
10. WHAT I'M WEARING
All of my Christmas sweaters, which is a lot. I love being festive and cannot wait to really break into all of my Christmas sweaters and socks.
11. WHAT I'M DOING THIS WEEKEND
This weekend we do not have any plans other than going to get our Christmas tree! I love going to get our tree with Justin's family and this year is no different. I love going and cutting down our tree - hopefully this year we can get a big tree and fill it with so many lights.
12. WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT MONTH
Besides Christmas? I'm looking forward having a few weeks off work at the end of December. We've been working hard to get our house decluttered and organized and I plan to use some of my time off to go through a few different areas in our house that need organizing.
