Blogmas Day 13: My Favorite Holiday Candles

Happy Monday friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and your week is off to a great start so far.  As I mentioned yesterday, this is my last work week of 2021 and I am thrilled.  I feel like I've been very busy this year (even with COVID) and I'm ready for 2022.

For today's post I thought it would be fun to share my top three holiday-themed candles.  All of these candles are from Bath & Body Works, but I will also be sharing some other candle brands that I've had my eye on for a while.  I should also note that this post is not sponsored in any way, I just love the Bath & Body Works candles.

My Favorite Holiday Candles

1. Winter Candy AppleI am a huge fan of all things apple scented.  I always get excited when fall rolls around because I know that apple scents are going to resurface for the year and winter candy apple is no exception.  It is definitely a sweeter smell (i.e. very strong on the apple) but I love how fresh and wonderful it smells.  Another good apple scent from Bath & Body Works is their Honeycrisp Apple.  They're similar but not quite exactly the same.

2. Merry CookieI found this candle last year and was immediately obsessed.  It smells just like sugar cookies baking in the oven and it's so yummy.  Funny story actually, I ended up buying 3 extras last year and when they had a sale earlier this year I had planned to buy 3 more until I went through all of my candles and found I had already bought them.  I have one of these in my office, in the living room and would put them everywhere if I could.

3. Frosted CranberryI'm noticing a trend that I like sweeter smelling candles.  Frosted cranberry isn't quite as sweet as the other scents, but it does lean on the sweeter size.  What I like about this one is it reminds me a bit more of a holiday dinner because of the smell.  This one is also very refreshing smelling.

Some other honorable mentions from Bath and Body Works are Tree Farm, Flannel and Fresh Balsam.  I love how each of them smell, but Justin's allergies are not too fond of them.

Another candle company I'm thinking about purchasing from is Antique Candle Co.  I've heard some amazing things about their candles and I love that they have a candle testing program.  For $26, you get 4 of their sample candles (2 oz.) so you can test out their new scents they will be releasing for the next season.  I haven't had a chance to order from them yet because they sold out super fast.  But eventually I will get the chance to try their candles.

Well that is everything for today! Tomorrow I'm planning to share my adventure making my first ever yule log.  This idea was inspired by all of the holiday baking shows that I have been watching.  I'm excited and nervous to try this because baking is always all over the place.  Come back tomorrow to see how it goes.
