tuesday things {01.04.2022}

     

Hello and happy Tuesday friends! I hope the first week in 2022 is going well for you and you're getting back into the swing of things for the new year.  Today I am doing the first round of Tuesday Things for 2022! Today's post is going to be random and not focused on any topic in particular.  

1. We celebrated Christmas with Justin's family on Saturday and it was so much fun.  We played the present game where you get a few small gifts and wrap them all up in plastic wrap so that it is a little bit difficult to get to the gifts.  We had so much fun playing with them and everyone was able to get a little something from the games.  It was a lot of fun.

2. We watched the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts special that came out January 1st and I loved it.  It was so fun to see the characters where they are now and reminisce about the movies and all of the stories. 

3. My mother-in-law gave me a sweater that says "Love yourself first" and I love it.  It's so soft and comfortable and is a great reminder that I need to prioritize myself first.  I struggle to do that sometimes and having a cute and fashionable reminder is awesome. 

4. I'm planning to go through my closet this weekend.  We both went through our dressers and got rid of a large bag of clothes each, so naturally the next step is to go through the closet and purge stuff we no longer need.

5. I've been missing our fosters lately and it's really made me wish we hadn't stopped fostering kittens.  I know it was the right decision for us at the time, but I sure to miss those sweet little faces and meows.  Maybe sometime this year we will be able to pick it back up and foster a few kittens.  In the mean time I'm going to just keep focused on our goals for this year.
