tuesday things {02.15.22}

           

Hello and happy Tuesday friends! Today I am doing another round of Tuesday Things! For today's post I am going to just share a few random things from the past week: 

1. Our furnace decided that we do not need hot air on Saturday night so we've been making due with space heaters until we can get it serviced this afternoon.  Thankfully one of our neighbors graciously lent us their space heaters which greatly warmed up our house (considering it was ONE degree this morning). 

2. Did you have a great Valentine's Day yesterday? Besides being cold we had a great day! We watched "Marry Me" on Peacock and it was such a fun movie.  I love Jennifer Lopez and really enjoyed the storyline in the story.  It's out in theaters and can be watched on Peacock as well.  

3. I hosted a little Galentine's Brunch on Saturday and it was so much fun.  We all got together and made a delicious brunch with eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, waffles, french toast bake and of course mimosas.  It was so fun and so nice because it is the first time we've all been together since June of last year. 

4. Even though it has been so cold lately, the sun has been shining a lot and I've been eating up every minute I can when the sun is shining.  It also helps because the sun melts the snow and warms up our house a little too. 

5. We finished doing the "built ins" in our living room and I am SO excited.  They turned out so pretty and I am so excited for the storage that we now have in them.  No I just need to make labels for the storage bins and actually organize the stuff in our living room.  I'm honestly impressed with how much larger our living room looks with them in there.  I'm putting a post together with information on what we did and will hopefully have it up sometime this week/weekend.
