tuesday things {01.03.23}

Hello and happy Tuesday friends! And welcome back to reality! Today is Justin and I's first day back to work in a little over a week and I am struggling.  There's nothing more tiring than going back to work but I will be glad to have some semblance of a routine going forward.  Today I thought I would pick back up my weekly Tuesday Things post.  The purpose of this post is to share five (or more) random things that have happened over the last week.  It's a fun little post and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

1. Anyone else always give themselves too many goals for the new year? I feel like I'm always listing a bunch of things out then end up accomplishing only a few, but I'd rather have the list in front of me than just completely ignore them.  Speaking of which, I'm working on my 2023 Goals post which I'm hoping will come out later this week or early next week.  I'll do something similar to what I did last year with personal, business/work, and financial goals then try to share regular updates with you all.

2. We started working on our pantry the last few days which consisted of us cleaning everything out, taking down the shelves and getting the space ready for the the new cabinets we are going to put in.  Fingers crossed the cabinets actually show up tomorrow as they're supposed to so we can start planning out the space a little bit.

3. I am planning to go through my closet this weekend and purge a bunch of my clothes.  I have been noticing that a lot of clothes in there have not been worn for at least six months and some have not been worn in over a year.  I tried to set up a rule that I will not keep clothes for more than a year (unless they're sentimental) so it's about time I go through them and start to purge.  Plus, what better time than winter when I have nothing better to do?

4. I have been a tad bit obsessed with Dashing Diva nails lately - they're like Color Street but I have picked them up at Target and love them.  They last pretty long for the most part and are super easy to apply.

5. Anyone else struggling with meal plans this time of year? I'm not sure if it's the weather or what but I have no desire to cook, let alone come up with a menu.  But alas, we have to eat and I'm tired of ordering out.  Let me know in the comments if you have any quick and easy recipes you'd recommend!

Well that's everything for this Tuesday! I hope you have a great rest of your week.
