November: Month @ a Glance {11.01.23}

Hello and happy Wednesday friends! I hope you had a wonderful Halloween and are not to tired from a fun evening.  Today is another round of Month @ a Glance where I share what is going on this month and share any goals I have.

I think we can officially say we're in the Holiday season now and I'm shocked at how quickly it came up on us.  I have done a lot of my shopping already for Christmas, but I still have a few handmade things to finish and a fwe people to shop for yet.

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Mrs. Doubtfire: The New Musical Comedy. I am so excited this is coming in town and I get to go with my friend thanks to Broadway in Detroit! I have heard so many great things about this show and cannot wait to check it out.

2. Friendsgiving 2023.  Every year we get together with our friends and have a little Thanksgiving dinner.  I think we're on our 11th or 12th year for this tradition and I am so excited.

3. Hair Appointment & Pedicures. These are pretty much monthly routines for me, but I am excited to go.  I've got some fun ideas for a pedicure for the holidays and love getting my toes done.

4. Thanksgiving with my family. This year is Thanksgiving with my family so I'm assuming we will be going over there with them to celebrate.

5. Christmas Tree Shopping.  The Christmas Tree farm we go to to get our trees usually opens up the weekend after Thanksgiving so I am assuming we will be going to do that the Saturday after Thanksgiving this year.  It is one of my favorite traditions with Justin's family.

6. Disney's FrozenAnother musical I get to see this month thanks to Broadway in Detroit.  I know this is more geared toward the kiddos, but I am super excited to see this show with my friend Vicki.  I love Frozen and I'm excited to see it.

Goals for November:
So I started the last 90 days challenge and promptly fell apart.  I think I bit off more than I could chew and overwhelmed myself so for November I'm going to scale back a little bit.

1. Read one book. This month I am planning to finish Antiques, Artifacts & Alibis by Sally Bayless.  I came across this book during the fill your Kindle Amazon sale and ended up reading it since it's supposed to be a cozy mystery.  So far I am really liking the book and plan to finish it here shortly!

2. Drink 80+oz of water a day.  Any of the girlies (or guys) out there use a Stanley and love them? I am so excited for the new Stanley coming out today.  It's so fun and festive and is perfect for the Holiday season! If you want to get one for yourself, be sure to click on the photo below (p.s. it's my affiliate link).

3. Take my vitamins daily.  Now that we've officially moved into the darker months in Michigan I am making sure to take my vitamin D and some other vitamins I need for my general health.  Especially my iron since I have a deficiency.

4. Exercise or meditate daily.  I had a doctor appointment last week and the recommended I start meditating to help reduce stress so in November I'm going to focus heavily on meditation but if I don't meditate I'm going to try and do a 15-30 minute walk on my walking pad.

Like previous months I will be using a tracker that I created which was inspired by Evermore Paper Co..  Their website is still down, so I am using my version I created for tracking this month.  I'm hoping their site will go back up soon, but if you'd like to use mine, just click on the image at the end of this post - to be clear their version was free and this version is free.  I will not earn any income from this printable.

Well I think that is everything for today! I hope you have a great month!

Question of the Day: What do you have planned in November?
