Hello and Happy New Year friends! I hope you had a wonderful holiday and are not too tired today after the New Years festivities. Today I'm sharing another month at a glance with you all. January is usually a very quiet month, and this month won't be too much different. Hopefully we finally get some legitimate winter weather instead of the yucky rain we have been getting this past month.
On the Agenda this Month:
1. Baptism for my cousin's son. My cousin had a little boy a few months ago and is baptizing him this weekend. We will go and celebrate with my family and honor him then.
2. Friend visiting from New York. Our buddy is going to come in from New York for a long weekend in the middle of the month. He hasn't been to visit in quite some time so it will be nice to see him!
3. Justin's Birthday. We don't have anything major planned, but we will be celebrating Justin's birthday sometime in the middle of the month too.
4. Fort "sleepover" with the girls. I'm excited because at the end of the month my girlfriends are coming over and we're going to build a fort, watch movies and hang out for the afternoon/evening in the fort. PLUS, we're doing a color party where everyone brings snacks/drinks based on the colors they picked.
Goals for January:
1. Drink 80+oz of water a day. Keeping the goals simple this month and making it a goal to drink 80+ oz of water every day. I tend to get really bad about water this time of the month so I'm really going to focus on that this month.
2. Take my vitamins daily. As the weather gets darker and darker, it's going to be important I take my vitamins every day to keep up my vitamin D and other stuff.
3. Exercise or meditate daily. The goal is 30 minutes of something daily whether that's walking, yoga, cycling or something else. Just move my body and shake out some of the stress.
4. Finish one book. I am starting A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas today and have a plan to finish it by the end of the month. I'm excited because I am doing a read along with a friend. We're planning to do 2 or so chapters a day.
Like previous months I will be using a tracker that I created which was inspired by Evermore Paper Co.. Their website is still down, so I am using my version I created for tracking this month. I'm hoping their site will go back up soon, but if you'd like to use mine, just click on the image at the end of this post - to be clear their version was free and this version is free. I will not earn any income from this printable.
Well I think that is everything for today! I hope you have a great month!
Question of the Day: What do you have planned in November?
