February: Month @ a Glance {02.01.24}

Hello and happy Thursday friends! It is hard to believe we are already through the first month of 2024.  I feel like January flew by this month, just like every other year.  We did manage to get some good snow the last few weeks so it made the month feel a little bit less unbearable.  But now that we're officially into February it's time to make a plan for the month ahead.

On the Agenda this Month:

1. Small party for my friends birthday. Tomorrow a few ladies are coming over to do a little party and celebrate our friend's birthday.

2. Galentine's Day Brunch. This year will be our third Galentine's Day Brunch and I'm excited.  We all get together and make brunch together.  Last year we did a few fun things too so I'm excited to get together with the girls this year.

3. Wood making safety class.  In 2024, Justin wants to learn how to make wooden cutting boards so we're taking a local safety class around Valentine's Day then we're planning to sign up for a few classes to actually make cutting boards together.

4. Friend's baby shower.  I'm helping my friend's sister with her baby shower this month and I'm excited.  We've come up with a super cute theme and I am excited to celebrate her and her coming little one.

5. Pretty Woman: The Musical. I am excited to go see Pretty Woman: The Musical in Detroit with my friend.  I actually have never seen Pretty Woman before so I am planning to watch it before we go to the show.  But from what I know about it, it is not a musical so that twist will be interesting.

Goals for February:

1. Drink 80+oz of water a day.  Keeping the goals simple this month and making it a goal to drink 80+ oz of water every day.  I tend to get really bad about water this time of the month so I'm really going to focus on that this month.

2. Take my vitamins daily.  Even though we're getting to the longer days of the year, I am still going to take my daily vitamins.  It has made a big difference in my overall health in January so I'm keeping it on my list.

3. Exercise or meditate daily.  The goal is 30 minutes of something daily whether that's walking, yoga, cycling or something else.  Just move my body and shake out some of the stress.

4. Finish one book. Last month I finished a total of three books: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, and Sales, Suspects and Secrets by Sally Bayless.  And of course, I moved onto the next book in two of the series, so my goal is to finish those two books in February.  If I can get a third done, then I will! I tend to listen to one book, read one on my kindle, and read one physical book so that's what my plan is right now.

Like previous months I will be using a tracker that I created which was inspired by Evermore Paper Co..  Their website is still down, so I am using my version I created for tracking this month.  I'm hoping their site will go back up soon, but if you'd like to use mine, just click on the image at the end of this post - to be clear their version was free and this version is free.  I will not earn any income from this printable.

Well I think that is everything for today! I hope you have a great month!
