January: Month in Review {02.05.24}

Hello friends and happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to a great week ahead.  This year I wanted to start a new series where I recap the previous month by covering a lot of fun different topics and give you updates on my life.

What's New
There's really not much new that happened last month.  The only thing that I changed was adding sticky tile into the laundry room.  I will do a post about it soon because it's interesting and a good solution if you don't want to tile or cannot decide what you want to do.

Monthly Goals Update
1. Drink 80+oz of water a day.  I did overall very well on this.  Looking at my tracking sheet, I drank 80 or more ounces 25 of 31 days.  The days that I missed the goal, I missed it by approximately 10 ounces of water.  That's pretty good.

2. Take my vitamins daily.  I'm pretty proud of myself for this one, but I only missed one day in January taking my vitamins.

3. Exercise or meditate daily.  The goal is 30 minutes of something daily whether that's walking, yoga, cycling or something else.  Just move my body and shake out some of the stress.

4. Finish one book. My goal was to finish one book in January, but I actually finished three:

What I Watched
I didn't watch a lot of television in January, but we did watch a movie on Netflix called Love at First Sight and it was pretty cute.  It's a good romance/drama movie if you're looking something to watch in February.

What I Read

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.

At least, he's not a beast all the time....

In the charming little tourist town of Dogwood Springs, Missouri, Libby Ballard, director of the local history museum, is on a mission to boost museum attendance. To attract more visitors, she plans a big birthday party for the town, with hopes of displaying an armoire that once belonged to the town's founder.

But when Libby attends a local auction to acquire the armoire, she instead stumbles upon a dead body....

And I started A Court of Mist and Fury too!

Last Month's Spotify Playlist
I have been digging this playlist from SpookyLoopz.  If you are on Twitch and want to watch a fun streamer, be sure to check him out.

Well that is all for today.  Thanks for checking out my month in review!

Have a wonderful day,
Jackie
