Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week. Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week. If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here.
1. My girlfriends and I did Galentine's Day on Saturday and it was so nice. Everyone brought a brunch-themed food (which was delicious by the way) and we hung out chatting and enjoying each other's company. We also did a "favorite things" party where everyone brings three of their favorite things and everyone ultimately goes home with three new things. I got a Scrub Mommy and I'm geeked.
2. I also decided to teach myself crochet again and made my first ever granny square over the weekend. If you're on TikTok then you likely know Elyse Myers and have seen her sweater that she crocheted herself. Of course, when I saw hers I wanted to make one just like it. BUT, I'm using leftover yarn from my temperature blanket I knitted in 2023.
3. Speaking of my temperature blanket, I really need to finish binding in all of the ends. I'm probably 2/3 of the way through the ends but man it's repetitive. Lesson learned that next time I work on a big project with lots of color changes that I need to go ahead and bind as I go.
4. I'm feeling less motivated to read this month and that makes me a bit sad. I loved every second of reading last month so I'm not sure what's going on this month. Either way, I'm still on track to finish three books this month.
5. As if I didn't need another hobby, I ended up getting stuff to make acrylic bookmarks. I saw the cutest one on Pinterest and had to make it for myself. I honestly feel like I could make and sell them as a side income, but I'm not quite sure I need to do that yet again considering I have Shop with Me, Jackabee and my stickers over on Redbubble. I kind of want to sell physical stickers on my own shop, but for now I'm working through Redbubble.
