Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week. Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week. If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here.
1. This past weekend was busy but oh so fun. On Saturday, I went to learn how to make macarons with two of my girlfriends and it was so fun. They definitely take a while to make and are complicated. I can 100% why people charge as much as they do to make them - just not simple. That being said, I will 100% try making them again.
2. We also got to go back to school shopping with our niece and nephew on Saturday and it was fun. They're getting to the age where they have a lot of opinions on their clothes so it was fun watching them pick a few things out for school. It is also so wild to see how fashion is coming full circle from when I was a kid.
3. I've already read three books this month and it's been great! I have another book I have to finish by next Monday so I am anticipating finishing at least two to three more books this month for book clubs. One of them is a romance book so I am curious to see how I like that book.
4. Random fact, I know two people that had babies on August 5th on opposite sides of the world. It's so amazing to me to think that there are people being born all over the world, even when I'm sleeping.
5. I'm excited because I'm going to do formal tea with a few girlfriends this weekend and I love when we get together. I think I need to try and pick out a cute outfit and definitely do my makeup/hair.
