Happy Tuesday Friends! I hope all is well and you are having a great day so far! Today I am teaming up with Andrea for another fun round of Show and Tell Tuesdays.
Happy New Years everyone! I hope your year has gotten off to a wonderful start! Justin and I are leaving for Disney tomorrow for me to run my first ever 1/2 marathon. I am definitely starting my year off with a little bit of excitement.
For this Show and Tell Tuesday, we are talking about our New Years Resolutions. When it comes to resolutions, I went a little more lax this year because I know this year will be crazy busy.
2016 Resolutions
1. Buy a house!! Justin and I have been talking about buying a house for a few years now and after meeting with a financial adviser, we have decided that 2016 will be the year that be buy a house. We are so excited.
2. Run 1 Race a Month. Part of this goal is for me to lose weight, but to just say I want to lose weight is simple. I wanted to make a plan, so I did. On January 1st, I signed up for one race a month - starting with the 1/2 marathon this weekend. If anyone in Michigan or surrounding areas is interested in joining me for any races, let me know and I will be happy to have the company!
3. Read 1 Book a Month. Last year I signed up to read 30 books which did not happen, at all. This year I would like to sign up to read one book a month.
4. Journal. On of the goals I have for this year is to write one Bible verse a day. I pinned a few ideas on Pinterest of verses to write every day. I started this last month and was not successful, so this year I would like to try to write a few verses a day.
I am sure I have other ones that I am missing and as they come up I will be sure to share with you all!
I am looking forward to participating in Show and Tell Tuesdays for the rest of the year and hope you find them enjoyable as well!
I am getting back in to running myself this year! But I really loathe it! I know I'll do better this summer, but man it's so cold outside right now!!!! Best of luck at the Disney 1/2!
ReplyDeleteRunning is not my favorite thing in the world, but when I am running for a good cause, I catch myself happy to be doing it! Good luck this year! Thank you for the encouragement :)
