May: Month @ a Glance

Happy May Friends!

I hope your week is off to a great start! This week is super crazy for me between work and personal events.  I am hoping to get at least one good night's sleep this week.  Fingers crossed!

It is SO HARD to believe that we are already a few days into May.  In 28 days, Justin and I will officially be homeowners - holy canoli.  May is going to be a busy and fun month for us and I am excited to get things going.

    Goals for May

    1. Read {at least} One Book.  For May I am hoping that I get a few books for my birthday.  But as of right now, I am planning to read The One and The Heir from Kiera Cass as well as What Alice Forgot

    2. Daily Scripture Writing.  The goal is to write the verses from each day.  I am hoping I will do better this month than I did last month.

    3. Plan a Date with Justin.  With all of the chaos of the month upcoming, I want to make sure that I make time for Justin and I to have some one-on-one with each other.  My goal is to plan at least one date for the two of us.

    Recap from April

One thing I need to start doing is going through and recapping whether or not I completed my goals for the month.  I mean, what is the point of having goals if I am not checking in on them?

    1. Read {at least} One Book. In April, I  managed to read two books: The Selection and The Elite by Kiera Cass.  If you have not read any of The Selection Series before, I would highly recommend them.  They have an air of The Bachelor and Hunger Games.  Love them so far.  The fifth book actually comes out this week!

    2. Daily Scripture Writing.  I failed at this.  And I failed hard.  Thankfully it's a new month and I can start over.

    3. Pack Up the Guest Bedroom.  I may have waited until the last day to do it, but the guest bedroom did get packed up and organized this past Saturday! Thankfully it got done and I can start making more progress on the rest of the apartment.

    4. Be More Positive.  I think I can honestly say I was successful here! I am so grateful to everyone who helped encourage me during this month too!

Question of the Day: What fun things do you have planned in May?

I'd love to hear from you!
