Happy Tuesday friends! I hope you are enjoying a great start to your week and have many fun things to look forward to for the rest of the week. Today I am doing another round of 5 Things Friday where I share 5 things from the past week. If you want to see past Tuesday Things, click here.
1. I hope you had a wonderful Easter this past Sunday filled with great company and delicious food. We went out to brunch with mine and Justin's parents and it was so nice. We went to a local place that we've done brunch before in the past and it was so delicious.
2. We have been getting a few things to make some updates/fixes around the house. Last year we had some work done to add a new outlet in Justin's office and we still haven't fixed the hole they made so we got stuff to patch that. We also got new screen for the sliding door since we got a hole in our old one last summer.
3. What's better than a half finished project? TWO half finished projects! I started a new blanket for a friend last week and I'm really enjoying the challenge of learning a new pattern and using up yarn from another project to finish this one. I actually have three project in the works: 2 baby blankets and one sweater for myself and I'm out here planning another project. Who do I think I am?
4. I wish Mother Nature would decide whether it's Winter or Spring in Michigan. We've been hoping around in temperature so much lately and it's making my head and throat ache. Thankfully I think we're on the upswing and will be consistently warm. I'm excited to be able to get outside more.
5. I've already planned my birthday event for this year and I'm excited. We're going to make candles and go out to dinner. I figured it would be fun to do something outside of just getting together at the house. Plus my birthday actually falls on Mother's Day this year so I wanted to plan something separate.
